What we're working on:
(Updated: February 2002)Our producers are working hard on upcoming releases from label staples such as Tiny Roger the Scatting Maniac and MC Relapse. We're also experimenting with new music production software called Fruity Loops; It's not much use to us at the moment, but we see some real potential! However, some of our progress is slowed due to us working hard to complete our contractual agreements with Tiger Electronics and their innovative Hit Clips format.

(Updated: December 2001)The big topic in the office this week has been a new "lossless" audio format, called FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec). This provides CD quality audio at smaller file sizes, but I can't see it ever taking off. If my MPMan could play them, it could only store 5 or so tracks at a time. That's just plain silly! So unless you're planning on spending hundreds of pounds on high-end jukeboxes from the likes of Creative, or the new "iPod" from failing computer manufacturer Apple, I can't see these lossless formats ever being practical, and a 96 kilobit MP3 sounds just fine to me!
